Join us for the 42nd annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 19th from 9 AM to Noon!
Coastal Cleanup Day is California's largest annual volunteer event. Join your friends and neighbors to help remove trash from beaches and inland waterways across the entire state. Help protect wildlife and our own health by eliminating plastic pollution before it can cause any more harm.
The Amigos de Bolsa Chica will provide tools, gloves, trash pickers, buckets, etc., but feel free to bring your own. This event is family friendly - families can come together with children and it can be a fun time. There is no shade at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, so be sure to bring extra hydration, sunscreen, hats, etc.
Once you register you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the event waiver - please be sure to read and sign it. You will need to show proof of signing the waiver at the event. Copies of the waiver will also be available at the event.
